• Because we desire not only to officiate wedding and marriage vow renewal ceremonies, but also to help in establishing and affirming Christian homes and families, we require premarital counseling with a Christian counselor or minister prior to the wedding ceremony.  A letter stating the completions of such counseling to be sent to Wai`oli Hui`ia Church at least sixty (60) days prior to the ceremony.

• Weddings and marriage vow renewals at Wai`oli Hui`ia Church are officiated by Way`oli's designated pastors. If a member of your family is an ordained clergy and you wish them to participate in a portion of your ceremony, present your request in writing to Wai`oli Hui`ia Church for consideration.

• Because Wai`oli Hui`ia Church is a historic property, no nails, staples, or tape is allowed on buildings, walls, or pews.

• Wai`oli Hui`ia Church does not provide a wedding coordinator.

• Vases for floral arrangements must be provided by your florist.

• Floral arrangements shall be taken away directly after the wedding ceremony or left for the Church.

• Music and/or a sound system are not provided by Wai`oli Hui`ia Church.

• Candles are only permitted when drip catchers are attached and must be approved by Wai`oli Hui`ia Church in advance.

• Church furniture or accessories are not to be moved without prior approval from Wai`oli Hui`ia Church and should be moved back to original location after ceremony.

• Pew arrangements/decorations etc. shall be removed after the ceremony.

• There is to be no scattering of rice either inside the Sanctuary or on the Church premises.

• The scattering of flower petals is only permitted inside the Sanctuary, not on outside Church premises.

• You may invite the Pastor to your reception to offer a blessing or to attend as a guest. If you do not give him/her a formal or verbal invitation they will not be expected to attend.

• Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Church premises.

• Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the Church premises.

• The Church/Sanctuary is provided in "as is" condition.

• PAYMENT SCHEDULE:                                                                   - - -Deposit of $200 due at time application is approved to reserve date/time                                                                                          -Officiant Honorarium of $450.00 due ninety (90) days prior to ceremony                                                                                      -Balance of $450.00 due sixty (60) days prior to ceremony 

• NOTE: In the event that you cancel your ceremony with Wai`oli Hui`ia Church at least sixty (60) days prior to the ceremony, the cleaning fee of $150, if paid, is refundable along with one-half of the Church/Sanctuary fee of $500 ($250), if paid.  ALL other payments are non-refundable.  All non-refundable monies to remain with Wai`oli Hui`ia Church unless an unforeseen Act of God prevents Wai`oli Hui`ia Church from performing their obligations.                                                                      

Violation(s) of our terms and conditions will result in a penalty fine, compensation for loss, destruction, and/or misconduct, and termination of application, if deemed necessary. This is a 200 year old Sanctuary and a church that glorifies God, we ask for your respect and care to continue       to preserve it in such a way. Mahalo nui loa.
